Our Heartfelt Approach to In-Home Care
The first step we take when providing domiciliary care and support is to evaluate the client’s needs. We approach home care differently than other agencies because we don’t focus on your limitations.
As a person-centered agency providing home care, we kindly ask you to let us know what you would like to be able to be able to gain from our support.
It can be that you wish to engage in more social activities and make new acquaintances, that you need confidence that you are taking your prescription properly, or that you have specific care requirements that must be met. No matter how modest they may be, we take the time to understand your objectives. You can live a happy and satisfying life at home if all of this is done for you.
Personalised Care Plan
Once you have had you’re assessment then, taking into consideration your individual care requirements and preferences, we develop a domiciliary care support plan. You have easy access to your plan, and if you like, it may be shared with family members as well. Your domiciliary care plan evolves along with you or in response to your changing needs as part of our ongoing support. With our assistance, many of our clients find that they gain confidence and do things they never thought they would be able to. Others may have changes in health over time due to more complex care demands. To ensure that it is meeting your care needs, we frequently review your domiciliary care plan.
Our Standards
We place a premium on upholding our standards above and above the minimum amount of care demanded of us. As a result, we regularly conduct surveys, quarterly reviews, supervisions and observations, monthly audits, and annual evaluations to assess the quality of our domiciliary care. Every two months, we conduct KLoE audits (Key Lines of Enquiry: Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-Led, and Responsive), with a final full KLoE assessment occurring in the final two months of the year. Our Director signs the KLoE forms, which are then assembled into folders with the necessary Action Plans. This self-evaluation is carried out to make sure that our domiciliary care agency services are continually improved.
